I started Where’d You Go, Bernadette, by Maria Semple five days ago, and this satire story vanished before my hands. While the beginning of the story took off somewhat slow with numerous emails, the story soon began to unravel and got quite interesting. The book has a humorous vibe to it, as you learn about the main character, Bernadette Fox and her opinions on just about everything. Her husband is a Microsoft genius, and her daughter, Bee is not only in the top-of-her-class, but also Bernadette’s best friend. However, when Bernadette begins to make some mistakes that leaves her husband worrying about her mental state, Bernadette ends up missing out of the blue without a trace of where she went.
